To think back in time,
I keep asking myself -
- But, why was she killed? Because she was tough and ruled with an iron-hand, eh?
- Or, because she didn't allow secessionists to succeed?
- Should she have allowed them to do what they wanted to?
- What about those who befriended the secessionists?
- and friends of the above?
- Who played the emotional card of Golden Temple and also used the identity of a proud community to achieve political mileage?
- An unconstitutional power centre within the country?
- What was a Prime Ministers supposed to do in such circumstances? Can any critic of Indira Gandhi answer it? None has come forward so far.. and if there was one, I'll love to know his/her alternate plan to deal with secessionists.
- Has any politician from opposition camp done anything at all?
