Hindi Language - An Endless Nightmare

The Hindi-speaking people are pretty imperialistic when it comes to use of other Indian national languages. They never try to speak other languages. Taking pride in "raastr-bhaasa", they ignore all other languages. No matter since how long they have been staying in a non-Hindi speaking state.
For example, how many people from UP speak MaraaTHii in Mumbai, and from Bihar speak Baangla in Kolkata?
Why is this arrogance?
Why do these people wrongly pronounce the three sounds of "sa"?
While speaking, a majority of them makes no distinction between mrit sa, taalavy sha and dantasy sha. Even educated ones, including TV reporters, do this and if one points out they look at you as if you have committed a cardinal sin!
I attribute this to sheer arrogance of the people whose first language is Hindi.
